Letter from the Miller Lithographic Company Limited to Smart Bros. Ltd discussing proofs for Land O' Lakes labels. The letter says the following: "March 31, 1932 / Messrs. Smart Bros., Limited, / Collingwood, Ont. / Gentlemen:- Attention Mr. E.M. Smart / Acknowledging receipt of your letters of / March 29th and 30th, we have pleasure in quoting you / for 50,000 Smart's Brand, Choice Quality Sauerkraut / 2 1/2's labels at $2.80 per thousand and 200,000 or 250,000 / Smart's Brand Choice Quality labels 2's Squats, assorted, / at $2.40 per thousand. / We figure on running these labels through / with a combination sheet with Land O' Lakes labels and / Aylmer Green and the dark green background would be approx- / imately the same as on the enclosed labels which we pre- / sume would be satisfactory to you. / We would have the drawings of your labels to / make which would delay us a little but if we hear from you / promptly we would be able to get your labels on this comin- / ation sheet and make delivery within six weeks. / We would appreciate very much eharing from you / promptly in this connection so that we can make our plans / accordingly. / Yours very truly," |
